Product master data specialist

As a Product Master Data Specialist at Boels Rental, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing product-related master data across the Boels Group. You will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of master data, contributing to efficient decision-making and streamlined processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive strategies to safeguard data quality and governance, while leading initiatives to enhance master data processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize and safeguard processes, guidelines, and governance for product master data.
• Develop and maintain data models for product master data in systems like SAP S/4HANA.
• Create and enforce procedures for material phase-in/phase-out while ensuring compliance.
• Define and implement data cleansing strategies.
• Contribute to the development of the product master data strategy for the Boels Group.
• Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement corrective measures.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor data quality and performance.
• Foster a culture of change management and continuous improvement across the organization.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in master data management, focusing on product data and SAP material master.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SAP, rental software, and QlikSense.
• Proven project management skills, with the ability to oversee end-to-end projects.
• Expertise in translating organizational challenges into standardized, impactful solutions.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Valid proof of your right to work in the Netherlands (Boels does not provide relocation support, work visas, or visa sponsorship).
