Here at Boels Industrial, we specialise in temporary lighting, air or power supplies, tools, lifting and hoisting equipment and welding machines for the larger industry.
As a technician at Boels Industrial at the location at BP Rotterdam Europoort, you and your colleagues are responsible for the installation and maintenance of various machines and equipment at our customers’ locations. It's up to you to ensure that the on-site machines are properly installed and continue to function safely.
You and your colleagues start in the morning at a Boel's location on our customer's premises with a cup of coffee. Together you will go through the daily schedule. You will then get to work in our own workshop on site or you will leave for the installation on location to carry out routine servicing or a repair. During one of your checks, you find out that the machine is not running smoothly, so because of your knowledge and experience you know better than anyone where to look. After you have found the issue and repaired it, you can start testing the machine. In short; As an installation technician at Boels Industrial, you have a versatile and varied job, so no day will be the same! Sounds good, right?

Your Profile
‘You roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty’. ‘You enjoy transforming varied equipment into serviceable pieces of kit for our customers to use’: It's you, so you fit into our orange team in Rotterdam. To also become the best at Boels Industerial as an Mechanic, you have to:
•    Have an interest in obtaining a VCA through Boels. If you already have this, even better!

•    Have a full (car) Driving Licence or can come to any of the location BP Europoort with own transportation! 

•    Have completed a relevant technical/engineering training;

•    Have the ability to quickly solve electrical faults with the help of information from control panels, motor controls and electrical diagrams;
•    Possess a keen eye for quality and health & safety
•    Have an interest in obtaining a VCA through Boels. If you already have this, even better!
•    Not suffer from acrophobia (fear of heights) as it can sometimes happen that you have to work at high heights!
