What you’ll be doing
At Boels Industrial, we make sure large industrial projects never come to a standstill. Whether it’s temporary lighting, air or powersupply systems, tools, lifting and hoisting equipment, or welding machines – we take care of it all.
In this varied and hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and dismantling industrial and temporary technical installations safely, efficiently, and according to plan. You’ll be an essential part of our team, ensuring that operations on the BP site in Rotterdam run smoothly at all times.
Your main responsibilities:
- Installing, connecting, and maintaining temporary technical installations on industrial sites
- Carrying out preventive inspections and maintenance to avoid breakdowns
- Testing and checking systems to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Identifying areas for improvement and reporting them to the foreman or client
- Maintaining a safe, tidy, and well-organized work environment
- Working closely with your colleagues to ensure every project runs smoothly – because at Boels, we do it together

What we offer:
- A gross monthly salary between €2,545 and €3,313 (based on a 40-hour week)
- An attractive bonus scheme
- The possibility of a permanent contract from the start
- Option to work part-time (36 hours)

What you bring:
- Education: preferably a completed vocational (VMBO-level) technical education
- Experience: ideally experience with electrical installations or hands-on work with machines, engines, or scooters
- Competencies: safety and quality are your top priorities, and you don’t mind working at heights
Other requirements:
- A valid driving licence (B) and your own transport (due to site accessibility)
- A valid VCA or VCA VOL certificate (or willingness to obtain one at Boels’ expense)
