Boels Industrial is looking for an Electrical Technician to help install, maintain, and keep our temporary installations operational at industrial customer sites. Together with a close-knit team, you will work at various factory locations, mainly in the Rotterdam Europoort region.
What will you do as an Electrical Technician on Project Sites?
Your workday starts at 07:00 at the customer’s location. You kick off the day with your colleagues over a cup of coffee and a clear daily plan. Every day is different, as you work on challenging projects that typically last around 16 weeks. You’ll mostly work outdoors, both at ground level and at heights.
Your tasks include:
- Installing and dismantling temporary power, air, and lighting networks
- Troubleshooting to keep installations up and running
- Conducting inspection rounds to ensure system safety and performance
- Reporting your activities to the foreman and the customer
You will mainly workday shifts during maintenance stops (turnarounds) and ensure that the plant installations continue to operate smoothly.

What you bring:

- Education: MBO level 4 technical qualification
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, for example as a technician or within electrical engineering
- Competencies: Positive mindset, motivated, physically fit, eager to learn, and safety-oriented
- Other: A valid driver’s license (B) and your own transportation are required; additional certifications such as VCA/NEN3140/VOLT400 are preferred, or you must be willing to obtain them at our expense
