Role Overview
Boels Rental UK’s Survey Division specializes in hiring a variety of equipment, including robotic total stations, GPS kits, construction lasers, and other survey and safety products for the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
As the Survey & Laser Director, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of survey-related revenue within Boels Rental UK's Survey and Safety equipment division. This includes overseeing budgets, setting revenue targets, and managing the client base, in collaboration with the senior management team, and reporting to the UK Managing Director. You will ensure the highest levels of compliance and quality in all operations, maintain the equipment inventory, and coordinate with clients. This role is also crucial for shaping the division's medium- and long-term strategy, identifying new market opportunities, products, revenue streams, and driving customer acquisition while maintaining high efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Surveyor’s License (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in survey operations, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of survey equipment, techniques, and software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
- Proficient in survey software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Have valid proof of your right to work in the UK – (Boels does not arrange relocation, work visas or provide visa sponsorship) – ESSENTIAL
