This is what you will do

As a Procurement Officer Indirect Sourcing, you play a key role in supporting our Indirect Sourcing department. You ensure administrative processes run smoothly and operational efficiency is maintained. Your proactive and detail-oriented approach will help drive process improvements and deliver outstanding results.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Manage inquiries via email, phone, and the general mailbox, including vendor onboarding.
  • Maintain and update data in systems like SAP Ariba and the Contract Management System.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Assist in creating and updating procurement policies to ensure compliance.
  • Drive improvements in the Purchase-to-Pay process and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Verify data quality and ensure effective IT support for processes.
  • Share and document best practices to enhance cross-functional collaboration.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or equivalent experience.
  • Alternatively, secondary vocational education (Dutch MBO) with significant relevant experience.
  • 1-2 years in a similar role, ideally within an international setting focused on administration, supply chain, or procurement.
  • Proficient in MS Office; SAP (Ariba) experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to address organizational challenges with standardized solutions.
  • Excellent communication in Dutch and English; additional languages like German or French are a bonus.
